Brandon Straub, pianist

 



Brandon earned a B.A. in music education from Michigan State University, where he also served as the accompanist, coach, and arranger for several choral ensembles including the MSU Men’s Glee Club and the MSU Accafellas, an all-male a cappella group. The Accafellas have performed in concert halls and schools throughout the country.

As a solo performer Brandon has performed throughout Europe as a violist and pianist, including a tour for Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto. He is currently the Oaklawn-Tuttle Chair of Vocal Music at The Hill School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, where he directs the choral ensembles and teaches the History of Art and Music. He also serves as the school’s organist. In the summers Brandon serves as a staff pianist at one of the most prestigious fine arts schools in the country, Interlochen.
